Asheville, N.C. – Carroll track and field ended the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in ninth place overall for the men and with four total All-Americans.
Difficult weather conditions prevailed on Friday with rain delays in the pole vault. Tucker Monaco and Jackson Barney wrapped up their Carroll careers in the event, as did Katelyn Christensen in the javelin.
Over Wednesday and Thursday, the Saints placed four individuals in the top eight. Carson Krack won his second straight national championship in the decathlon and fourth All-American award. Tucker Monaco ended runner-up in the decathlon for his highest finish ever and seventh All-American honor. Reuben Hornby placed second for a second consecutive year in the javelin, and Brynn Wandle placed second in the pole vault for her second All-American award and highest finish yet.
"It was such an awesome season," said head coach Harry Clark. "The athletes performed so well all year and at this meet especially, and we're grateful for our seniors. We're looking forward to the future with our returners and to adding a great recruiting class in for next year!" he added.
The outdoor national meet concludes the 2025-2026 season for Saints track and field and cross country. The group will head to time off before picking up this summer in preparation for 2026-2027.
