HELENA, Mont. - Continuing a long-standing tradition of academic success, all 17 varsity sports at Carroll College have been named 2025-26 Scholar Teams by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
As part of its National Awards Day, the NAIA has announced all of the 2025-26 Scholar Teams in addition to various individual, school, and team honors.
For the 12th consecutive year, every varsity sport that the institution sponsors was designated with the Scholar Team title, an honor reserved for teams that compile a GPA of 3.0 or greater throughout each academic year.
It was a banner year for the Fighting Saints academically. This past spring, the 17 varsity sports combined for a 3.53 department-wide GPA, the highest recorded single semester in Carroll College history.
All said and done, 249 total Fighting Saints were named Academic All-Conference (3.25 or better GPA) selections over the course of the 2025-26 academic year, representing 60 percent of all student-athletes. A record 159 of those student-athletes were named NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes (sophomores and above maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better), 56 percent of eligible student-athletes.
