BIG SKY, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), along with construction partners CK May Excavating and Hard Drive Construction, will resurface sections of Montana Highway 64 (MT 64) and U.S. Highway 191 (US 191) beginning on June 1.

MDT and CK May Excavating will begin to seal and cover (chip seal) and restripe MT 64 between Plank Road and the intersection with US 191. Motorists should expect one-way traffic and plan for significant delays. Crews will be working daylight hours throughout the week. Work is expected to be completed by June 5, weather and other factors permitting.
US 191
MDT and Hard Drive Construction will begin a scrub sealing and restriping project on US 191 between the River House Bar and Grill and the Red Cliff Campground, mile markers 41.8 to 45. Motorists should expect single-lane traffic and plan for extra travel time. Pilot cars will be guiding traffic through the project area during daylight hours. Work is expected to be completed by June 5, weather and other factors permitting.
