RAVALLI, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), along with construction partner Riverside Contracting, Inc., will resurface US Highway 93 (US 93) south of Ravalli from July 9 to July 15, weather and other unforeseen factors permitting. This work is part of a construction project that began during the fall of 2025.
The project extends from north of White Coyote Road, at mile marker 20, to Holt Street, mile marker 26.7.
Crews will be working weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work includes a rut fill, microsurfacing and applying new pavement markings. These improvements will create a smoother driving surface and extend the service life of the roadway.
When traveling through the project corridor, motorists should expect single-lane traffic, traffic signals, pilot cars and delays up to one hour. For the most up-to-date information regarding road conditions, visit MDT 511 Travel Info.
The public is encouraged to contact MDT at 406-523-5800 or mdtprojectpi@mt.gov with any questions or comments.
MDT is a workforce of over 2,000 people across Montana determined to do all we can so that you arrive at your destination safely. Our mission is to build, operate, and maintain a safe and resilient transportation system. For more information, visit mdt.mt.gov.
