KALISPELL, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte yesterday continued his 56 County Tour in Flathead County and joined Ex-Guard to celebrate the opening of its new facility in Kalispell.
“Montana is open for business, and we are thrilled to welcome Ex-Guard to Big Sky Country,” said Gov. Gianforte. “Ex-Guard is an American manufacturer building grille guards for semi-trucks, pickups, and other vehicles, and we’re proud they’ve chosen Montana as the home for their western operation.”

Founded in 2009 in Des Moines, Iowa, Ex-Guard manufactures grille guards for semi-trucks, pickups, and other vehicles. The facility in Kalispell will be the home for the company’s latest expansion and its headquarters for western operations.
With five employees currently, this facility will manufacture guards and expedite shipping time for Western states. Last year, Ex-Guard purchased a lot in the Glacier Industrial Rail Park and completed construction earlier this year.
Joining the governor for the ribbon-cutting were Department of Commerce Director Marta Bertoglio and Ex-Guard General Manager Ryan Holt.
