For the past 23 years, in October and November, Town Pump team members have joined together to support their local communities by raising funds for their local food banks. With the support of their very generous customers, players, and hotel guests, Town Pump has raised a record $449,768 for food banks in 47 Montana communities in 2024.
Statewide, donations at Town Pump businesses increased by over $21,000, demonstrating the dedication to caring that is a core value of so many Montanans. Donation amounts ranged anywhere from loose change to $9,000.
The money donated in Town Pump stores, casinos, and hotels is matched and forwarded to the local food banks in the community it was collected. There are no restrictions on the use of these funds — the local boards make these decisions based on their current needs.
The Montana Food Bank network estimates that for every $1 donated, it can provide up to four meals. That’s 1.8 million meals for our Montana neighbors.
