Katie Hursh completed her master's degree in counseling at
Idaho State University, graduating May 8 with honors. Hursh passed
the National Counselors' Exam. She has received the title of
National Certified Counselor and will be a licensed professional
counselor in Idaho.
She works for Mental Wellness Centers Inc. in Pocatello as a
psychosocial rehabilitation specialist, family group
decision-making facilitator and emergency on-call responder for
child protective services. She will work toward an advanced
certification in drug and alcohol counseling.
Hursh, the daughter of Judy and Gary Staudinger of Butte and the
late Lou Hursh, graduated from Butte High in 2004 and from the
University of Montana in 2008.
Harold Godtland, of Butte, attended his 60-year reunion at
Montana State University in Bozeman, and was honored with an
anniversary degree at the commencement exercises in May. Godtland
earned a degree in architecture and spent his career as an
architect.
Renee Griffith, daughter of Lew and Christine Griffith of
Butte, has been named to the Spring 2010 Dean's List at Evangel
University, Springfield, Mo. During the spring semester, Griffith
was a sophomore with a double major in English and Intercultural
Studies. Full-time students who have earned a grade point average
of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale are eligible to be on the Dean's
List. Evangel University is a private, Christian university.
