Age: 33

Occupation: I am an orthodontist. I was raised in Butte and graduated from Montana Tech in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. I received my doctorate in dental degree (DMD) from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in 2013 and completed my dental specialty residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in December 2015. In addition, I am a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. I was honored as one of Montana Tech’s Outstanding Alumni in the Fall of 2017, and my husband, Anthony, and I were the guest speakers at the 2019 Montana Tech Graduation Awards Banquet.

In 2016, my husband and I had the opportunity to move back home to Butte to start Laslovich Orthodontics. I provide orthodontic treatment for adolescents, teens, and adults in Butte, Anaconda, and southwest Montana. I am dedicated to providing the highest quality orthodontic care to every patient who comes to my office. I offer treatment with traditional metal braces, ceramic “clear” braces, and Invisalign. My team and I are committed to ensuring every patient leaves with a beautiful, healthy smile backed by a first-class, positive experience. I provide orthodontic treatment with the newest technologies and advanced techniques, and I am committed to lifelong learning to best serve our community. I am proud of the wonderful care we provide, and truly love what I do. Being an orthodontist is so wonderful for so many reasons. We witness huge transformations every day — transformations in smiles and confidence. When braces come off, patients are ready to take on the world!

Yes, I put braces on teeth, straighten smiles, and fix overbites … but my job is so much more. Everyday, I have the opportunity to make real connections and relationships with my patients. Over the course of their treatment, my team and I get to know every patient. It is so much more than a “job” to me … and that is because of the wonderful people who live in this community and southwest Montana!

Community and volunteer activities: Community is of utmost importance to me. Our community trusts me with their orthodontic needs and is supporting my dream of living and working in Butte. In turn, I am committed to supporting the community who supports me. I have been involved with the Butte Education Foundation for several years and am a major sponsor for the Celebration of Excellence Awards Banquet. Moreover, I support the Butte Central Education Foundation, Montana Tech Junior Charlie Oredigger Program, East Middle School and Butte Central Junior High Student of the Month, and the Colt Anderson Dream Big Foundation. I am an avid supporter of numerous youth sports teams and other organizations, such as the Silver Bow Youth Leaders. I want to help make a positive impact on our community.

What  do you like best about living, working and volunteering in southwest Montana?

The people.

I could choose to live anywhere, and I chose to live in Butte because of the people. Our community is full of people who work hard, do the right thing, and take care of one another. Who doesn’t want to be a part of that? I am inspired by my patients, peers, colleagues, and other community members everyday, and I simply strive to do the same in return. We live in a unique place, and I want to preserve the integrity and special bond that our community has. I think my work reaches far beyond the walls of my orthodontic office. Yes, my priority is being the best orthodontist I can be and providing the highest quality care right here in Butte. But my ultimate goal is to make an impact on our community that is bigger than just straightening teeth. I am glad I have another 40 years to work toward that goal.
