Beavers, Maroons advance
Clay Fisher scored a 10-4 decision over Polson’s Bridger Wenzel to claim first place in the 126-pound division at the Western A Wrestling Divisional, Saturday at Dillon High.
Fisher will be joined by teammates Roy Russell, Theron Nelson and Colter Stillwagon at next week’s Class B/C State Tournament in Billings.

Dillon’s Patrick Griffin and Brent Tezak, who are in search of their second consecutive state crowns, also came out on top during Saturday’s divisional.
Tezak squeezed out a narrow, 4-2 decision over Columbia Falls’ Mason Fetters to win the 152-pound division.
Griffin needed a third-round pin of Stevensville’s Ben Crews to win at 170 pounds.
