    The Copper City Kings high school team finished second in the Salmon Idaho Invitational Tournament, losing an overtime thriller in the championship game and finishing with a 3-1 record at the tournament.

      The Copper City Kings took home a second place finish at the recently completed Copper City Cup high school hockey tournament, finishing with a 2-2 record, losing both games to the eventual champion Helena Big Horns.

        In the battle for the Northwest Division's final playoff spot, the Butte Cobras made up valuable ground with a come-from-behind win 5-4 overtime win over the Seattle Totems, Friday night, they very team they are chasing for that final spot thanks to Kevin Philbin.

          Daniel Armstrong played the hero not once, but twice for the Butte Cobras, Wednesday morning at the Western States Hockey League Shootout in Las Vegas.

          With the 2015-16 Western States Hockey League season set to kick-off Friday night, the Butte Cobras released the roster they will take into action for their season opener against the Seattle Totems.
