Butte High football's run to the 2019 state AA championship game saw 16 Bulldogs selected to the all-state team.
Senior Tommy Mellott was named the offensive MVP while also earning all-state honors at the quarterback and punter position. Mellott passed for 2940 yards and 30 touchdowns against just four interceptions this past season. He also handled the majority of punting duties with an average of 39.4 yards per kick.
At the tight end position, senior Peyton Hettick was tabbed as an honorable mention with 481 yards and four touchdowns.
At offensive tackle, Konor McClafferty was selected as an an all-state player while Jr. Timmy Hollingsworth was an honorable mention.
Two Bulldog offensive guards made the cut with senior Lucas Kingston and Junior Ty Raiha each earning a No. 2 ranking.
Butte wide receiver Ryan Neil was selected as an honorable mention wide receiver. The junior amassed over 600 yards and five touchdowns on the season.

Twin seniors Kobe and Kameron Moreno were selected as the a No. 1 fullback and running back respectively. Kameron's 2019 campaign saw him rush for 1307 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Kicker Casey Kautzman was selected as Class AA's top kicker. The sophomore converted 64-of-70 PAT's and connected on 6-of-8 field goals with a season long of 43.
On defense, Aidan Lee was selected as a an all-state lineman and Tucker LeProwse was tabbed as an honorable mention inside linebacker.
At the outside linebacker position, Quinn Sillvan was chosen as an all-stater, Scout Allen was selected as a No. 1 safety and Billy Kelly was an honorable mention cornerback.
On special teams, Cory West was chosen as a second-ranked special teams player.
