Zaccheus Darko-Kelly of Montana Western earned his first Frontier Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award on Monday.

Darko-Kelly and the Bulldogs took down University of Providence 91-60 and then defeated Montana State-Northern 86-75. In those contests, Darko-Kelly averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals.

The sophomore from Great Falls earned the Frontier Conference’s Freshman of the Year award last season, and has greatly improved his game this season. This is his fourth weekly award.

Chris O’Neill of Montana Tech, Ryan Reeves of Montana State-Northern, Jared Samuelson of Rocky Mountain College and Matt Wyman of Carroll College were also nominated.
