The Frontier Conference men’s and women’s championship games will be televised via Eleven Sports and the SWX network of television stations.

The women’s championship game features top-seeded Montana Western (25-3) hosting fourth-seeded Carroll College (24-7), while the men’s championship features top-seeded Carroll College (26-6) hosting second-seeded Lewis-Clark State.

The women’s championship with air live on Eleven Sports via DirecTV while SWX’s broadcast will air roughly at 9 p.m. after the University of Montana men’s basketball game.

The men’s games will air live at 7 p.m. on both channels.

Saints softball starts slow

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Carroll College softball team was swept in a doubleheader by NCAA Division II Concordia University this past Sunday. The Saints (2-7) lost 3-2 and then 13-0.

During the first game, Carroll took a lead in the second inning after Ali Williams drove in a run on an RBI single.

The Cavaliers rallied to take the lead when they scored the go-ahead run in the sixth inning.

During the second game, Concordia jumped out to a 11-0 lead after two innings and never looked back.

Despite the loss, Natalie Gaber and Emma Hamilton each got a hit.

Rocky relay team honored

BROOKINGS, S.D. — The Rocky Mountain College men’s distance medley team won All-American honors after finishing seventh at the Indoor Track and Field National Championships this past weekend.

Elijah Boyd ran the 1200-meter portion, followed by Brenden Leaming in the 400-meter then Joseph Vanden Bos with the 800-meter run and Isaac Petsch finished the mile.

Petsch also finished ninth during the men’s mile with a time of 4:19.37
