BOZEMAN — Montana State’s 2019-20 men's basketball schedule is set under first-year head coach Danny Sprinkle.
The 31-game regular season slate includes matchups both home and away against every Big Sky Conference opponent. Montana State will play 11 nonconference games to prepare for Big Sky action, highlighted by a trip to Utah State on Nov. 5.
Montana State will play an exhibition contest versus Billings’ Yellowstone Christian on Oct. 30 and make its official Worthington Arena debut of the Sprinkle era on Nov. 9 by hosting Rocky Mountain College. The Bobcats follow that with a trip to the UNC Greensboro Holiday Tournament from Nov. 15-17. UNCG hosts MSU, Appalachian State and Tennessee Tech. The Bobcats end the road trip by traveling to Grand Canyon on Nov. 19.
MSU returns home to play three consecutive games against Colorado Christian on Nov. 26, Green Bay on Nov. 30 and South Dakota State on Dec. 5. The Cats close out their nonconference schedule at North Dakota State on Dec. 16 and at Cal State Bakersfield on Dec. 19.
The 20-game tour of the Big Sky Conference begins Dec. 28 at home versus Sacramento State. MSU will play at Montana on Feb. 1 and then host the Grizzlies Feb. 22.
