There are quite a few rebuilding teams in the Cactus League, including the White Sox, Padres, Royals, Rangers and Reds (pictured). But the Reds could be a surprise contender in the NL Central if all their offseason moves click. They’ve added starters Tanner Roark, Sonny Gray and Alex Wood, along with veteran Dodgers outfielders Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig, who usually creates a stir just by being himself. Of course, the Reds finished 26-50 against their division rivals last year, so it’s still an uphill battle. But at least they should be interesting, which hasn’t been the case in Cincinnati since the Dusty Baker era.
