Fish cleaning station

A new wastewater system for Hell Creek State Parks fish cleaning station has been proposed.

After disagreement among board members at the last meeting regarding proposed upgrades to Hell Creek State Park, the Montana State Parks & Recreation Board will meet on Tuesday, May 28, at 10 a.m. to discuss the issue.

The meeting will be held at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks headquarters in Helena.

The board will again deliberate on an individual appeal of a proposal to upgrade the fish cleaning station's wastewater treatment system and install a new potable water system. The move has been appealed by the Friends of Hell Creek.

Presentations and public comment on the appeal were taken at the May 10 board meeting. Any further public comment will be done at the board chair’s discretion.

The meeting is open to the public. Public comment for items not on the agenda will also be heard. A live audio stream of the meeting will be available online at: stateparks.mt.gov. Live video will be available at all FWP regional office locations.

Agenda times are approximate and best estimate only. To view the Montana State Parks & Recreation Board Agenda or for more information about agenda items, visit: http://stateparks.mt.gov/about-us/parksBoard.html.
