Regarding the removal of Wiley's "Non Sequitur" comic strip from your paper, I feel the need to comment. Some of the strips on the funny page have political overtones — "Doonesbury" and Mallard Fillmore" come to mind. Many address mundane social issues without any humor whatsoever ("Funky Winkerbean", "Crankshaft", "Pajama Diaries", to name a few). Some are just plain ugly drawings (Wumo who I mean). I appreciate most of the others, but I always save Wiley's for last. I used a 20X magnifying glass to find the almost illegible scribble offending one of your censors in Sunday's paper, and admit it would have passed all but the most conscientious nit-pickers on your staff. By removing this single comic from your newspaper, you have lost a loyal subscriber.
