Police reports:

Punching former relative

A woman was behind bars Wednesday for allegedly punching a former relative in the head.

Police say Tiffany Nichole Fetters, 33, went to a house in the 1300 block of Motor View Road around 4 p.m. Tuesday to give her young daughter some money. The girl is being taken care of by the former relative, a woman.

When the woman wouldn’t let the mother see the girl, Fetters punched her in the back of the head and got in a car and left. When police stopped the car in the area of Phyllis Lane and Arizona Street, Fetters began screaming and yelling the officers when they tried to cuff her.

Driving drunk at the Freeze?

Police were called to the Bonanza Freeze on South Montana Street around 8 p.m. Tuesday on a report that a drunken driver was in the drive-thru. The driver was gone by the time officers arrived.

What, if anything, happened here?

A resident in the 1100 block of California Street called police to say she might have seen two men in her yard around 5 a.m. picking something off of the ground. She also said some beer might have been taken from an outside cooler. Police were hoping to review surveillance video that might have captured the act, if it happened.
