At around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night, police responded to reports of a man offering "weed bread" to employees of the Richest Hill Casino on West Galena Street.
There, officers spoke with Douglas Pool, 52, of Butte, who said he had found the marijuana-infused bread in a garbage can.
When officers discovered Pool was wanted on a pair of warrants — one for a felony parole violation, the other for a felony charge of motor vehicle theft — they arrested Pool.
While booking him into the Butte-Silver Detention Center, officers found Pool to be in possession of raw marijuana as well as weed bread.
Pool was booked on a misdemeanor count of possession of dangerous drugs and on the two felony warrants.
