Police reports:

Mom bites son

Police were called about a disturbance in a house in the 300 block of West Quartz Street early Sunday afternoon. An 18-year-old man said he came there to get his car and his mother, Wendy Lee Parks, 53, of Butte, showed up and got into an argument with him. Then she bit him, he said.

Parks was booked for partner/family member assault resulting in minor injury and remained in jail late Monday morning.

Man with a gun

Police arrested two people Sunday afternoon after responding to a call about a man with a gun.

They found Krystal Marie Alger-Jarvi, 38, of Butte, in a house in the 300 block of North Washington Street and arrested her for having an outstanding warrant from Butte City Court. She bonded out within two hours.

There was a man and a woman sitting in a car outside the house and when police questioned the driver, 21-year-old Bryson Ray Tweedy of Butte, they could see a .38-caliber on the floorboard. Witnesses said they saw him holding the gun earlier.

Tweedy is a convicted felon and is not allowed to have firearms, police say, so he was arrested for that and remained behind bars as of late Monday morning.

Punched in face

A woman living in the 1200 block of Farrell Street said two men drove up in an alley behind her house late Friday night and came to her back door. One claimed she owed him money and punched her in the face. Police are trying to locate the men.

Kimberly Lynn Lambert, 28, of Butte, was walking along Main and Iron streets early Friday afternoon when she was spotted by police who knew she had an outstanding warrant from District Court.

They told her to stop but she refused and she also fought attempts to be cuffed. Police could feel a drug-related pipe when they did a pat-down but it was gone when they got to the jail. A search revealed she had stuffed it down the back of her pants.

She was booked on a felony complaint of tampering with evidence for that, police say, as well as felony contempt and three misdemeanors — obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and possessing drug paraphernalia. She was being held Monday with bail set at $51,255.

Probation search

Police assisted probation and parole officers in searching an apartment in the 500 block of West Granite Street late Friday morning and arrested the resident, William Robert Murphy, 30, of Butte, for having a bong, several syringes and about 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine. He was booked for felony possession of dangerous drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and remained behind bars Monday morning.

Not allowed

Charles Lee Cabarett, 46, of Idaho Falls, was arrested Friday afternoon for being in a woman’s residence in the 2800 block of Silver Bow Boulevard Friday afternoon. She had taken out a protective order against him and a concerned friend called police. He was still in jail Monday morning.
