Three Butte High School seniors have been selected to receive scholarships from the Jacob Wheeler Foundation.

Blake Casagranda and Claire Manson will each receive $1,000, and Tristan Walks will receive $500.

Casagranda’s activities included Breakfast Club (co-chair), T.I.P, Youth and Government, and Montana 4-H State Ambassador. He was a delegate to Boys’ Nation and president of the Science National Honor Society. He played soccer and tennis. He will attend Gonzaga University.

Manson participates in Student Council, T.I.P, and is president of TASC. She belongs to National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, volunteers at the Silver Bow Montessori School, for Special Olympics, and at the Imagine Butte Resource Center. She will attend Carroll College.

Tristan Walks belongs to the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. She played softball and soccer and participated in TASC and Art Club. She volunteers for United Way. Tristan will attend Northwest University.
