SATURDAY, SEPT. 14

FALL FESTIVAL

The Divide Grange will host its Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Grange Hall in Divide. Festivities will include music, vendors, a bake sale, barbecue lunch, 50-50 drawing, door prizes, and a silent auction. Proceeds go to the maintenance of the building as a community center. FARMERS MARKET

Butte farmers market offers fresh produce, other foods, all kinds of plants and a variety of arts and crafts. Vendors line up every Saturday on both sides of West Park Street between Gamers Café and the Phoenix Building from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

CAR SHOW

The third annual Anaconda Chamber Car Show is from 1 to 3 p.m. on the 200 and 300 block of Cherry Street and the Anaconda-Deer Lodge Chamber Visitor Center Grounds. Registration is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. There is a $10 entry fee per vehicle, from classic cars to custom rods, and is a family-friendly event. In addition, there will be a Poker Walk. Purchase a Poker Walk card for $5, visit each merchant listed. Draw a card at each location. Return your filled card to the Chamber. Best Hand wins 50% of the pot. The event is sponsored by Dee Motors and the Anaconda Chamber of Commerce.

The 45th annual North American Indian Alliance Pow Wow will be at the Butte Civic Center, 1340 Harrison Ave. The day will include a 1k and 5k fun run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m., with registration at 7:30. Other events include a grand entry, contest dancing, a men’s shawl dance, and much more. All are welcome to attend this free event. Details: 406-498-0523.

GARAGE SALE

Habitat for Humanity will have a garage sale from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at its ReSale Store at 821 S. Arizona St.

PLANT A TREE

The 2019 community tree planting, with 1,000 plants, will begin at noon at the Lexington Mine, 1402 N. Main St. The event is sponsored by Butte-Silver Bow, Butte Natural Resources Council, and the Montana Tech Native Plant Program. Participants are asked to bring gloves, gardening tools, and wear closed toe shoes.

CLUBS AND MEETINGS

BUTTE

  • Butte MS Self-Help Support Group meets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the meeting room at Perkins. Come join us for brunch and casual conversation. Details: Alyson Harvey-Williams, 406-498-7497.
  • An anxiety and depression support group meets at 1:30 p.m. at 721 S. Montana.
