The Copper City Queens roller derby team will have a bingo fundraiser at 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 206 W. Galena St. Bingo packs are $5 each, with regular bingo and specials, along with a silent auction. Concessions will also be available. For more details, go to their website or call 406-498-6504.
The third annual Montana Antiques Appraisal Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Butte Civic Center. Expert appraisers Timothy Gordon and Grant Zahajko will be on hand to assess and give verbal valuations on such items as fine art, historic objects and other rarities. Appraisal tickets are $20 per item, plus any applicable fees. There is a limit of three ticketed appraisal items per person. Spectator tickets are $10 per person. Children 12 and under are free. All tickets are available for purchase through the Butte Civic Center website.
The Science Mine, 36 E. Granite St., will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. What effect do plants have on water quality? Explore the erosive forces of water at the stream tables! Enjoy favorite exhibits - the Bernoulli Blower - and more. Non-member admission is $5 per person; $15 per family, or renew your membership for the season.

Friends of the Montana Tech Library will be holding a book sale from 12:30 to 4 p.m. with items priced to sell at the Montana Tech library. Books include science, handyman, fiction, travel and more. Hardbacks are $1, paperbacks, 50 cents, DVDs $1, and special books priced as marked.
The Butte-Silver Bow Baha'i Community will show a film "Dawn of the Light" at 1 p.m. in the Butte Public Library. The event is in observance of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Bab, a co-founder of the Baha'i Faith.
