Butte Central made a miraculous comeback against Butte High during Thursday evening's crosstown basketball match.
Down by three points with just seconds left in the game, Central’s Cade Holter hit one of the most dramatic shots of the game, launching a three-quarter court shot to tie the game just as the buzzer sounded.
Despite the crowd-raising shot, Butte High's perseverance paid off — the Bulldogs pulled off a 61-57 overtime win over Butte Central.
“That was an incredible basketball game,” Butte head coach Luke Powers said after the game. “It’s a shame someone had to lose.”
