Belmont to host bingo fundraiser
The Belmont Senior Center will have a bingo fundraiser from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Elks Lodge, 206 W. Galena St. You must be 21 or older.
The evening includes food, raffle and prizes, with an optional dinner at 5. First game starts at 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $5 for six cards or $10 for six cards plus blackout game. Extra cards are an additional 50 cents. The evening will conclude with a game of blackout, and there will be a grand prize.
Picnic planned for Mtn Bell employees
The 12th annual Mountain States Telephone Company Family Picnic will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15, the Butte Depot, 818 S. Arizona St. Registration is at noon, and lunch is served at 1.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Hours change at Thompson Park
Thompson Park fall hours will begin Monday, Sept. 9, according to Forest Service and Butte-Silver Bow officials. Gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 31 and then will be closed until May 1, 2020. The public can still use the park area by parking at the entrance gates adjacent to Montana Highway 2 or at the end of Roosevelt Drive.

MS group to meet Saturday
Butte MS Self Help Support Group meets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in the meeting room at Perkins.

Bridge tournament coming up
Butte will be hosting a regional bridge tournament Sept. 16-22, at the Copper King Hotel and Convention Center.
There will be approximately 200 bridge players from many locations.
