Ruby Valley Medical Center names new CEO

SHERIDAN – The Board of Trustees of Ruby Valley Medical Center has named  Landon Dybdal chief executive officer. He was the CEO of the Garfield County Health Center in Jordan prior to coming to Ruby Valley Medical Center.  

Dybdal succeeds John Semingson, who joined the facility in 2007 and led process of upgrading the Ruby Valley Hospital's facilities to meet the demands of 21st century healthcare technology and regulations.

Madison to be closed to boats near Varney Bridge

ENNIS – The Montana Department of Transportation will temporarily close the Madison River near the Varney Bridge to boat traffic on Monday while crews will remove the east side of the bridge. Completion of the work is dependent on good weather.

Following the closure, small sections of the river near the bridge abutments will remain restricted to boaters through June 14. Boat traffic will be directed through the construction area using buoys once the closure is lifted.
