New pool at Stodden needs name

Butte-Silver Bow is asking the public’s help in naming the new pool at Stodden Park.

Entries will be accepted through Sept. 30, at which point a Pool Naming Committee will review the names and submit three names to the Parks and Recreation Board on Oct. 16. The Parks and Recreation Board will choose the final name and make a recommendation to the Council of Commissioners at its Oct. 18 meeting. The new name will be announced on Oct. 19, if approved by the Council of Commissioners.

Cold Hard Cash Show Aug. 23

TWIN BRIDGES — The Cold Hard Cash Show will be at the Hamilton Ranch Round Barn near Twin Bridges at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23. The concert benefits the Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation.

Tickets are $20, which includes a free wine and/or beer ticket. The meal and sponsorship tables are sold out.
