Police said Friday morning that three juveniles who fled from the facility Thursday evening had been located and taken into custody.
At approximately 6:19 p.m. Thursday, Butte police responded to the area of the Acadia facility located at 55 Basin Creek Road in Butte. Staff at the facility reported that there had been a disturbance and that three juveniles had fled from the facility by climbing over the fence on the perimeter of the property.
Officers tracked the three juveniles north from the facility and lost their tracks in the area of the NorthWestern Energy facility on Harrison Avenue.
As of Thursday night, none of the juveniles had been located.
Officers continue to search the area, and additional staff from the Acadia facility have been called out to assist in the search.
Descriptions of the suspects are as follows:
• 16-year-old Native American female with dark hair, 5'2", weighing 123 pounds. Last seen wearing a blue and black hoodie and black leggings. Suspect also had no shoes and was wearing hospital-type booties on her feet.
• 15-year-old white male, 5'11", weighing 175 pounds. Last seen wearing a blue hoodie with black pants.
• 16-year-old male, 5'8", weighing 136 pounds. Last seen wearing red sweatpants and a gray hoodie.
