Butte police reports
A disturbance Tuesday night at a residence in the 700 block of South Washington Street led to the arrest of Anthony Wayne LaMere, 31, Tonya Marie Moore, 43, Tammy Sue Moore, 59, and Kristel Rose Clouse, 31, all of Butte.
While investigating the disturbance, officers saw LaMere, who has outstanding warrants, enter a residence. The three women allegedly concealed the fact that LaMere was in the residence. Officers later found him hiding in the cellar.
LaMere was jailed for two contempt of court warrants, one a felony, the other a misdemeanor.
The three women were jailed for obstructing a police officer. In addition, a bag allegedly belonging to Clouse was found. It contained possible methamphetamine and she was also jailed for possession of dangerous drugs.
Just after 6 p.m., a woman called to say someone had pulled her hair and hit her in the face but she did not want to press charges.
A woman called to say someone took her fish tank from the front yard of a home she owns, put it in their car and drove off. The driver said he got permission a couple of weeks ago to take the tank.
The woman said she didn't give anyone permission. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended driver’s license and driving without liability insurance. The fish tank was returned to its owner.
A truck was stolen sometime Tuesday while it was parked in the Big M parking lot. The owner said that his white 2003 Chevy Silverado had a bad starter and he had to leave it there.
When he came back to get it, the truck was gone.
The case is under investigation.
