Jorjean Anna Schaefer, 37, checked in Friday afternoon with Butte-Silver Bow Parole and Probation.
A decision was made to head over to her hotel room where officials found potentially stolen checks, a glass pipe, and suspected crystal meth.
She was jailed for a parole violation, use of property subject to forfeiture, and criminal sale of dangerous drugs, all felonies, and misdemeanor criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday night fireworks
A person or persons were lighting fireworks in the Butte Civic Center parking lot around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
When police arrived, however, everyone had left the vicinity.
Ronald Lee Johnson, 57, was arrested Saturday afternoon for an aggravated DUI.
Police received a call that an intoxicated man was sitting in his car at the Lucky Charm’s Casino. As officers arrived, Johnson was pulling out of his parking space.
He was stopped by police and they noticed he smelled of alcohol and was slurring his words.
At the detention center, he tested more than twice over the legal limit.
Late Saturday night, police responded to a male/female disturbance on the 300 block of Ohio Street.
The male had already left the residence but was found hiding behind the Butte Rescue Mission.
Police gave chase, but Trevon William Adam, 30, quickly surrendered. When handcuffed, however, he attempted to pull away.
Adam was jailed for revocation of sentence and probation violation, both felonies, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
