1955-Nov. 2, 2017

Loving Mother, Grandmother, sister, friend and Social Worker, Veronica Ellen “Vonnie” (Lavelle) Kindt passed away November 2, 2017 after a lengthy, hard fought battle with cancer. She was born in Butte in 1955 (the middle of three daughters) to Helen Marie (Holland) and George William (Billy) Lavelle. Vonnie attended St Mary's and St. Raymond's Elementary and graduated from Butte Central in 1973. She later, proudly earned her Bachelors degree in Society and Technology from Montana Tech. She worked as a Social Worker for the Department of Family Services.

Vonnie was taken much too soon, but lived life to the fullest every second of every day, and definitely on her terms. She always knew how to have fun, on the spur of the moment she would be off on an adventure to Jackpot or some other exciting destination. She managed to live in the present -not regretting the past, or worrying about the future. Vonnie was one truly "tough" woman, and skillfully accomplished at making do with what she had. Vonnie never complained, even during her long, difficult illness. No matter how bleak the situation, she humbly accepted life on life's terms. She was truly kindhearted and non judgmental and demonstrated endless acceptance, patience and love for family, friends and clients. Her priority in life was her family; her greatest joy in life was her family.

Anyone who knew and loved Vonnie understood she never lived on Mountain Standard or Daylight Savings Time, but notoriously lived, and left this world on "Vonnie Time!"

She was preceded in death by her parents Billy and Helen Marie Lavelle, husband Tony Kindt and her in-laws Jack and Mary (Japp) Kindt. Grandparents, George and Holida Lavelle, and Ed and Mary Holland, aunts and uncles, John (Bake) and Delores (Meanu) Panion, Mick and Lois Doherty and Pat Lavelle.

Vonnie is survived by her greatest accomplishments and source of pride her three adored children and eight grandchildren: Sara and Clark Ward (Joey); Tony and Kira Kindt (Brooklinn, Karly and Aislyn Veronica); and Lindsey Kindt (Joe, Rick, Jaydan and Malaki)

Best friends and confidants her two sisters, Colleen Lavelle and Kelli Amerman.

Beloved Aunt to Bill and Wendy Fischer (Patrick, John, Theresa, Hannah, Billy, Mary and Peter); and Jake Amerman and his fiancé, Joleen Martinich.

She is also survived by aunt and uncle, Joyce and Lee Danielson. Numerous in laws: Jeff Amerman, Cliff Kindt and family, Ernie Kindt and family, Tina Lazzari and family, Paul Kindt and family, Janet Yother and family, Steve Kindt and family, and numerous cousins.

Special friends too many to mention, know you were loved and cherished.
