Tom Tracy recently passed away of natural causes at his home near Seattle. Tom was born January 18, 1956 to Thomas and Margaret (Kilgallan) Tracy. He attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1974. He also graduated from Butte’s Vo-Tech in 1984.
In 1986, Tom married Lorrie Freeman. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Tia and Bridget. Tom and Lorrie later divorced but remained good friends. There was always a place for Tom at Lorrie’s table on birthdays and holidays.
Tom worked at Boeing in Auburn for 24 years. He was a meticulous machinist and welder and took great pride in his work. He was a gifted woodworker who handcrafted multiple things for their home as well as a beautiful playhouse for his young daughters. He collected and restored many vintage Schwinn bicycles and Tonka trucks. Tom was very well-read, articulate, and had a quick-witted, Irish sense of humor that will be missed by all his family.

He and his family took several wonderful trips including vacations to Hawaii and Mexico. One of Tom’s favorite places they visited was Lake Koocanusa in Montana.
Preceding Tom in death were his parents Tom and Margie Tracy, his mother-in-law June Freeman, and brother-in-law Gary McLean. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Tia and Louis Villagomez and Bridget Tracy; grandchildren Dawson Funk and Gabriel and Graciela Villagomez; the mother of his children Lorrie Tracy; siblings and their spouses Colleen and John Stillwagon, Maureen McLean and Dusty Dusterhoff, Kathleen and John Moore, Gerri and Darrel Stordahl, and John and Kelly Tracy plus numerous nieces , nephews, and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Services are still pending.
