Thomas Patrick Tracy

1956-2019

Tom Tracy recently passed away of natural causes at his home near Seattle. Tom was born January 18, 1956 to Thomas and Margaret (Kilgallan) Tracy. He attended local schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1974. He also graduated from Butte’s Vo-Tech in 1984.

In 1986, Tom married Lorrie Freeman. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Tia and Bridget. Tom and Lorrie later divorced but remained good friends. There was always a place for Tom at Lorrie’s table on birthdays and holidays.

Tom worked at Boeing in Auburn for 24 years. He was a meticulous machinist and welder and took great pride in his work. He was a gifted woodworker who handcrafted multiple things for their home as well as a beautiful playhouse for his young daughters. He collected and restored many vintage Schwinn bicycles and Tonka trucks. Tom was very well-read, articulate, and had a quick-witted, Irish sense of humor that will be missed by all his family.
