She was born to Tim and Mary Sullivan on Aug. 22, 1926. She graduated from St. Mary’s Parochial School and attended Butte High School.

Mary was employed at Natrona County Hospital in Casper, Wyo., as a nurse’s aide. She later returned to Butte and worked in the women’s section at Weinberg’s Department Store. In 1948, Mary married Jerry Holm. They later divorced.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Mary Sullivan of Butte; brothers, Tim “Sox” Sullivan of Anaconda, and Bernard Sullivan of Butte; grandson, Timothy James “TJ” Holm of Great Falls; and cousin, Leo Mullin of Casper.

Surviving relatives include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Holm, and Rod and Elaine Holm of Butte, Robert Holm of Soda Springs, Idaho, Craig Holm of Butte, Greg Holm of Missoula, Jeff Holm of Butte, Shaun and Candi Holm of Butte; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Kippy Watson of Forsyth, Judy and Dave McTaggert of Augusta, Jill and Frank Asacowiczs of California, Debbie and Noal Hansen of Kanab, Utah, and Erin and Jeff Gray of Billings. She was the proud grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Naomi Sullivan of Anaconda; nephews, Dan Sullivan of Nome, Alaska, Tom Sullivan of Minnesota, and Pat Sullivan of Anaconda; nieces, Cheryl Brums of East Helena, and Sue Sullivan of Bozeman; and six great-nieces and -nephews.

Friends are asked to join the family after 4 p.m. Sunday in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel, located on Meadowlark Lane. Parish vigil will be recited at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
