Luella Mae Gustafson passed away on Feb. 5, 2017, at the University of Salt Lake City Trauma Unit.
Luella was born June 14, 1935 in Menahga, Minnesota, one of 10 children born to Evert and Siama Maaninga.
Luella married her companion of 64 years, Harold Gustafson, in 1952. The couple settled in Butte, Montana where they raised their three children, Barbara, Jeffrey and Gary. Always a hard worker, Luella worked in laundry services at various motels in Butte. Luella's greatest joy was cooking, baking and making her "Finnish Flatbread" for family and friends.
Luella was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Gustafson.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Gustafson; two children, Barb Harry (Jack) and Gary Gustafson; two grandchildren, Susan Giovanini (David Haskett) and Jason Gustafson; great-grandchildren, AJ Acuna, Braach Gustafson, and Bryant Morris; and great-great-grandchild, Carsyn Gustafson.
Luella's life will be celebrated at a later date in Menagha, Minnesota.
