Kathleen Frances (McKernan) Crider, 37, was born April 27, 1978, to Nancy Rose Conwell and Frank LaForest. She attended and graduated Anaconda High School in 1997. She was called back home to the Lord on May 13, 2015.
Kathleen always had a bright and vibrant soul and could capture an entire room just by walking in. She had a spark that made you want to talk to her and an aura that made her the center of any event. From a very young age she loved the stage and the theatrics. She loved to dance, entertain, and captivate audiences with her creative talents. A gift she passed along to her beautiful girls.
She found beauty in even the smallest of things and made friends in all corners of the world.
In her final months, she was able to spend time with some of the people who mattered the most to her, in the place she always called home. Until her last day she wore the vibrant smile that we have known our whole life.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Rose (Conwell) McKernan, Roseabelle Larsen, and Jerry Lathrope.
She is survived by her daughters, Kamryn and Kennedy Crider; father, Frank LaForest; stepfather, David McKernan; grandmother, Virginia Gale; sister, Larissa Conwell and nieces, Sydnee and Zoee Mack; and brother, Matthew (Whitney) McKernan and niece, Madison and nephew, Collin. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Eric Larsen and special friends, Bobbi Lorengo, Jackie Guiberson, and Aimee Mitchell.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28, at the Holy Family Church in Anaconda.
