Oct. 5, 1991-May 22, 2020
Justin Matthew Rogers passed away in Delray Beach Florida, May 22, 2020. Justin, born in Richmond, Virginia, on October 5, 1991, was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and wonderful friend. His love for family, friends, and each new day provided opportunities as he strived always to be a better man. His smile and contagious laughter was always a joy he shared with those around him.
He loved the outdoors, showing no fear in tackling new adventures from the age of four after moving to Montana with family. He especially enjoyed spending time alongside his best friend Shawn Bradshaw, as they enjoyed traveling and exploring the mountains of Montana to the city of Seattle.
After graduating from Butte High, Justin worked at several trades, finding his work as operations manager for Atlas Armor, in Delray Beach. He loved his job, spoke fondly of team, and always referred to them as his second family.
Justin was kind, dedicated, and he persevered to be a role model, thus his spirit remains with us through his love, light, and memories. He is missed but lives on through our hearts and the many lives he touched.
Justin is survived by his parents, Natalie and Greg McGillen (Butte, Montana); Joseph and Tracy Rogers (Amelia, Virginia); his siblings, Megan Rogers, Zachary Rogers, Candice McGillen, Wyatt McGillen, Ethan McGillen, Kaden McGillen; and his nephew, Marcus McMullen. He will be greatly missed by his grandparents, Allen and Jane Baker (Santa Fe, New Mexico); Jerry and Gaile Rogers (Chesterfield, Virginia); and Margie and Wayne McGillen (Butte, MT). As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his loving girlfriend Kencia Cadet. A memorial service to celebrate Justin’s life will take place next summer for family and friends.
