On September 24th, 2019, Judi Ann (Peterson) Summers gained her angel wings. Judi was a very special Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife, Aunt, Grandmother, Sister-In-Law and Friend.

Judi was born on July 24th, 1961 to Bill and Georgia Peterson, their first born. Judi attended Emerson Elementary, South Central, Butte Central and Montana Tech. She worked at St. James Hospital, Rivendell, NCAT, and Community Hospital in Anaconda. She had a knack for numbers and a love for the people she worked with.

Judi was a very talented artist and she loved being out in nature. Family meant everything to Judi. She was there for every one of us at some point in our lives.

In 1986, Judi married Mike Coulombe and they had three wonderful children together: Josh, Sarah and Zach. Judi and Mike later divorced but remained friends.

Judi’s love for her children was unending. She worked hard to provide for them and help them succeed in whatever they wanted to try. She was a proud Mom watching her children grow into the wonderful adults they have become.

In 2005 Judi met and married her soulmate and the love of her life Jim Summers. They were truly a couple who were meant to be together. They took many adventures together. Judi and Jim completed each other.

Judi was preceded in death by her grandparents Russ and Lill Peterson and Lorene and Jim Lowney, Aunts Donna Rigney, June Lowney, Luella Rogers, Uncle Ed Rogers, and Father-in-law John Summers.

Judi is survived by her husband Jim Summers. Children Josh (Jenn) Coulombe, Sarah Coulombe, Zach (Chealsea) Coulombe. Parents Bill and Georgia Peterson. Siblings Connie (Ron) Beck, Cyndi (Mat) Johnson, Dan (Laurie) Peterson, Bill (Mandy) Peterson. Mother-in-law Shirley Summers, Brothers and Sisters- in- laws Clark (Cindy) Summers, Larry (Laurie) Summers. Uncle Dick (Louise) Rigney. Nieces and nephews, Heather Peterson, Danika and Elaina Dennison, Cody Peterson, Allison (Edan) Strekal, Gerald Peterson, Corey Summers, Rayna Summers. Numerous cousins. And her trusty side kick Colt.

Judi is also survived by her two precious grandchildren Brooklynn and Ryker Coulombe. Judi's grandchildren meant the world to her and the time she spent with them was her favorite thing to do. Their Gigi loved them to the moon and back and they loved her in return.

Judi will be greatly missed by her family and friends. You will be forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Judi's name to the Margaret Leary Elementary School (1310 Four Mile View Rd, Butte, MT 59701) for Art Supplies for the students.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, October 13th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at The McQueen Club, 3250 Hecla, in Butte, Montana, with a reception to follow.
