James Edward Schultz

James Edward “Jamie” Schultz

February 28, 1990-November 26, 2019

After a long fight, James (Jamie) Edward Schultz left this world on November 26, 2019 due to diabetic complications.

Jamie was born February 28th, 1990 in Butte Montana with his twin brother Jeffrey. He came into this world a fighter and left as one too. He attended West and Emerson Elementary and then eventually Butte High School. Growing up, Jamie loved to be outdoors with his friends and siblings. His favorite thing by far though was when he went hunting with his Dad and Papa Jim. He was an avid hunter and always managed to get something every year that he went. He excelled in sports; more specifically in baseball and football. He also enjoyed riding his dirt bike.

As he entered adulthood, he eventually moved to Williston, North Dakota with his friends where he worked as a driller on the oil rigs. In 2014, at 24 years old, he was diagnosed with diabetes. Eventually, due to complications, he returned home with his parents where he spent the remainder of his years fighting. He passed away peacefully at home with family by his side.

He is preceded in death by Grandpa Heimer (Edward Theodore Schultz). He is survived by his son; Braxton James Schultz, His parents; Rob and Rochelle Schultz, His twin brother Jeffrey (Kimberlin) Schultz, his sister; Kaitlynn Schultz, his grandparents James and Mary Hewitt and Grandmother Betty Schultz, as well as numerous other Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins that he loved so dearly.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to either the Hospice Support Fund or The American Diabetes Association. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, the 3rd of December at Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home starting at 11 am; celebration of life to follow at The McQueen Athletic Club.  Express condolences at www.wayrynen-richards.com.
