Joe Ferko's long great life came to an end on June 24th, 2019 in Redmond WA, where he lived the last year of his life with his daughter Kim and his granddaughter KD. Joe was born November 24, 1927 to Mary Montana Coughlin and Joseph Ferko.
Joe attended St. Mary's, Blaine, Washington and Butte Central High Schools. In 1945 Central's football team won the State Championship. Following his love for the sport he went on to play semi-pro ball with the Butte Buzzies in 1949 1951.
In 1945 Joe began his 37 year career with the ACM Co. starting out as a Hard Rock Miner ending as a foreman for the Leach Department.
Joe married the love of his life Mickey Skubitz on November 2, 1957. They had 2 children Tim and Kim.

Joe loved to travel and spent the last 30 years of his life going to Seattle to visit his daughter and Granddaughters KD Corbett and Jen and Joey Dominick and Great Granddaughters London and Everly.
Joe loved Montana and took advantage of all its Beauty and abundance of wildlife.
Joe is preceded in death by son Timothy J. Ferko, sons-in-law John P. Jones and David. P. Corbett, mother and father, sisters Birdie Trudeau, Mary Haining, Peggy Smith. Brothers Jack and Bill Ferko and Chris Martin. Nephew Joe Ferko and niece Debbie Haining.
At his request there will be no service.
