Eleanor was a waitress for many supper clubs in Butte. She was also a proud member of the Gold Hill Lutheran Church. Eleanor started working in a pennant factory at 15 which turned into many years of embroidering bowling shirts. She and her husband, Bill, ran the Butte to Lima mail run for years. Even with multiple jobs and children she always managed to have a homemade meal on the table every day. She loved oil painting crocheting and waiting on restaurant patrons until 88 years old.

Eleanor is survived by William Fetters, Karen (John) Dutton, Janice Brooks, Kurt (Debbie) Fetters, William Carl Smyers, and 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by William Carl and Viola Smyers, David Fetters, Lana Westfall, Alan Fetters, David Smyers, Lillian Martz, and Todd Atcheson.
