April 17, 1973-April 5, 2019

Craig Mathew Newman, 45, of Deer Lodge, MT suddenly passed away on the afternoon of April 5, 2019, with his family by his side.

Craig was born in Deer Lodge April 17, 1973, to Samuel Newman and Linda Deeringer, where he grew up running around the Emery Mine after school while his dad was at work. He enjoyed the outdoors where he would fish, ride his dirt bike, or work on his new project whether that be a vehicle project or wood project. He attended Powell County High School where he would end up meeting some of his lifelong friends.

Craig eventually met his soulmate in the summer of 1992, who he would spend the next 27 years with. Craig and Bobbie Jo started a family and raised Shalina, Secilia, and Sammual Newman, watching them grow up in Deer Lodge also. He was a proud grandpa to JaCobie and Jax Newman, who he spent every day playing with and watching grow.
