April 3, 1948-Nov. 5, 2018
Carol L. McGrath passed away Monday, Nov. 5, at home surrounded by her family after a brief bout of breast and lung cancer.
Carol was born April 3, 1948 to Robert and Helen Pickett. She was the youngest of eight children. She was raised in Anaconda where she was very athletic and could out run anyone in a time when there were no sports for girls in school.

Carol worked many years in the kitchen at Galen State Hospital and also at Safeway. Her last job at Discovery House was the most rewarding to her. Carol loved working with the kids and would sneak quarters into the pay phone so they could make phone calls and the pop machine always gave her extra pops if someone didn't have one.
Carol and Jerry loved to go camping and after awhile purchased a place at Georgetown Lake that they shared with family and friends. Carol was blessed with five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren: Bob (Taylar) Bilodeau and their girls Andi, Jordyn and Hadley. Jeremiah and Russell Bilodeau. Jessica (David) Childress and their children Kyle, Trinity, Nicole, Cole and Maddie. Jennifer (Lin) Torgerson and their children Caedon, Taylor, Kaylee, Emma and Taryn.
