ANACONDA — Annette “ Jo” Jolynn Dean of Anaconda died Monday morning in St. Patricks Hospital in Missoula after an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Anaconda with dedication of the grave to immediately follow at New Hill Cemetery, Anaconda. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in KT Riddle Funeral Homes, Anaconda Chapel and from 10 a.m. Friday until service time in the church.
Annette Jolynn was born March 11, 1956, in Anaconda, the daughter of Alexander Edward Sbragia and Georgia Uvada Amer Sbragia. She attended local schools, graduating from Anaconda High School. Annette worked at several different banks in Anaconda and Twin Falls, Idaho. She met and later married Randol R. Dean Sept. 9, 1990, in Salmon, Idaho. She loved to play the clarinet, piano and enjoyed music. She was an avid supporter of the Anaconda Copperheads attending games even during some of the most trying times with her illness. Annette loved the mountains, hiking in the woods or time at the family cabin, four-wheeling and she loved to watch wildlife, especially moose and domestic cows.
She was an active member of the Anaconda LDS Church and will be remember by her daughter as the “ Perfect Mom.” Annette was devoted to her family, always thinking of others and never complaining about her own pain and suffering.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her previous husband Ian J. Massey.
She is survived by her husband Randy R. Dean and daughter Amerlyn M. Dean, both of Anaconda; sisters, Connie Bucholz (Benny F.), both of Anaconda, Leann West (Don) of Twin Falls, Idaho, Sharon Ricks (Gery) of Dillon; brother, Mike Sbragia, Anaconda; nieces and nephews, Lloyd and Carolyn Dunn of Nampa, Idaho, Benny M. and Melissa Bucholz of Mesa, Ariz., Ken and Sandra Walund of Anaconda, Monty and Keri Bucholz of Butte, Jerry West of Salt Lake City, David West of Twin Falls, Idaho, Carey Crandall, Rick Chatwin, both of Salt Lake City, Jason and Britney Ricks of Bozeman, Sheri and Cris Lagunas of Rexburg, Idaho, Lindsey and Greg Bird of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Kristy and Jerad Vezina of Bozeman, Cindy Ricks of Dillon; special cousins, Charles and Joan Rowe of northern Kentucky; numerous cousins and other extended family.
Memorials maybe made in Annette's name to the Anaconda Athletic Department toward new all protection pads at the Memorial Gym.
Annette Jolynn will be missed by all who knew her and she will be remembered by the way she treated people with kindness.
