Michael Jacob Dunne, 30, of Butte did not show up for his court hearing Thursday in Judge Kurt Krueger’s District Court.
Dunne is charged with felony assault on a minor and partner or family member assault, a misdemeanor.
The charges stem from an altercation on the evening of Oct. 24, 2019 with his adult partner and with a minor under the age of 14.
According to police reports, he and his partner argued, and she left.

Dunne then told her by telephone that he was beating the minor with a belt. After the child ran away, police said, Dunne pursued, then dragged the child down the street by the hood of the coat the child was wearing, causing scrapes and bruises to the child's back and heels.
Krueger revoked Dunne’s bond and a warrant for his arrest was issued, with bond set at $50,000.
Dunne also has two felony warrants issued out of Judge Robert Whelan’s district court.
