On Labor Day at Imerys Talc America in Three Forks, a crowd of a couple hundred rallied in support of locked out workers at the plant. The members of Boilermakers International Union Local 239 have been idled by the lockout since August 2. On Monday, Sen. Jon Tester; Kathleen Williams, Democratic candidate for Congress; and union local president Randy Tocci, among others, rallied the crowd. The union and the company are scheduled to resume negotiations, with a federal mediator, on Sept. 11.
