Butte Cares honored local citizens with the annual "Moving Mountain Awards" Thursday with a ceremony in the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse rotunda. They recognized people who exemplify the importance of working together to build a safe, healthy and drug-free community. Pictured from left are the recipients: Alana Ferko, Butte Plaza Mall manager; Lauren Sullivan, Butte High sophomore; Dr. Cathy White, pediatrician; Kathryn Lalicker, accepting award for her mother, Daynen Lalicker; Shawn and Phillip Borup, Butte Family YMCA; Tim McMahon, school resource officer; Tom Billteen, BSB chief juvenile probation officer; and Josh Schad, principal of Whittier Elementary School.
