Bids were submitted Friday to the Butte School District to pour foundation for the addition of Kennedy Elementary School. The project is just one among many that are part of a $35 million bond resolution that voters passed last November. The bond will improve security in the district’s elementary schools, bringing them up to today’s safety standards, and will improve East Middle School’s 61-year-old interior.
The bids submitted Friday were:
• $83,850 from Custom Construction

• $81,650 from Kissock Construction LLC
Both companies are based in Butte.
The district’s board of trustees will consider the bids during their Sept. 16 meeting.
