Leading up to Christmas, Anaconda has a number of December events in the works. They are as follows:

Copper Village sponsors Ladies Night Out — Ladies Night Out will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Anaconda Elks and is sponsored by Copper Village Museum & Art Center. To get into the Christmas spirit, attendees can expect fun, food, and wine. Items will again be up for bid to help you decorate, entertain, and enjoy the season. There will be silent and live auctions. The cost is $10 plus an ornament for the auction.

‘Mickey and the Bear’ debuts at Washoe — The Anaconda premiere of “Mickey and the Bear,” which was filmed in Anaconda in 2018, will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the Washoe Theatre, 305 Main St., Anaconda. Described as a coming-of-age movie, the film centers around an Anaconda teen who faces an inner battle with herself — stay and take care of her opioid-addicted father or fight for the independence she sorely needs. "Mickey and the Bear" stars Camila Morrone, James Badge Dale and Calvin Demba.

Church to host annual festival — Hope Lutheran Church will hold its annual Holiday Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at 1506 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda. The event includes baked goods, white elephants, raffle, craft items, and more. A soup and sandwich luncheon will be served from 11 am to 1 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children.

Breakfast at the American Legion Hall — The annual Good Neighbor Day Breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 8, at the American Legion Hall, Third and Cedar. Sponsored by the American Legion, the cost is $8 for adults, and $3 for children.

Take an ice sculpting class — Corey Gransbery will be teaching a class at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at 306 E. Park in Anaconda and demonstrating ice sculpting.

Anacondans celebrate Good Neighbor Day — Sunday, Dec. 8, is Good Neighbor Day and will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at the Anaconda Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, 306 E. Park Ave. Enjoy music by the Anaconda Junior-Senior High School Jazz Band and Christmas cookies

Don’t forget to bring baby gift — Hope Lutheran Church ladies will host the annual Florence Crittenton/New Hope Pregnancy Baby Shower and dinner at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at 1506 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda. Entertainment will be provided by the Anaconda Handbell Choir. Those attending are asked to bring a potluck dish to share for the meal and an unwrapped baby gift. The baby gifts will be divided between the Florence Crittenton Home and the New Hope Pregnancy Center. Details: 406-563-7381.

Voices of the Pintler concert Dec. 13 — Voices of the Pintler will have their annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the Anaconda High School's Little Theater. The public is invited attend.

Numerous vendors at Holiday Bazaar — Anaconda’s PTA Holiday Bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Fred Moodry School gym. Numerous vendors will be there selling their holiday ware.

Pintler Pets’ bazaar set for Dec. 14 — Pintler Pets will hold their Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Dwyer Elementary, 1601 Tammany St., Anaconda. Among the featured items are arts & crafts, baked goods, jewelry, woodwork, candles, and much more.
