ANACONDA — Anaconda's St. Patrick's Day celebration begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, when members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians will gather at the hall, then march to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 217 W. Pennsylvania Ave., for Mass at 9 a.m. They return to the hall for breakfast after the Mass.

The annual parade starts at 2 p.m. at the AOH Hall, 321 E. Commercial St.

Anybody can be in the parade — just start lining up at 1:30 p.m. at the AOH Hall, a spokesman said. The parade proceeds up Commercial, on Hickory, then on Park Avenue back to the AOH Hall.

This year’s grand marshals are Larry Lakel and Ellen Gallagher.
