Canyon trail work

Trail work continues along the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

The Uncle Tom’s point, Uncle Tom’s trail and the South Rim trails have been reopened in Yellowstone National Park.

The Brink of the Upper Falls and a portion of the North Rim Trail are now closed until late summer of 2019 for repairs.

Both projects are part of the overall Canyon Overlooks and Trails Restoration, a multi-year effort to repair the many viewpoints from which people enjoy the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Artist Point, Inspiration Point, Lookout Point and Grand View have already been restored.
